Description on the back, "Lincoln's New Salem Commemorative Plate" Abraham Lincoln came to Illinois in 1830. In the village of New Salem, he spent six formative years (1831-1837) of his life. The etching is in blue hues with pictures of houses and florals on the rim, Wagon Wheel Inn, Interior Berry- Lincoln Store, Old Grist Mill, Rutledge Tavern, and First Berry Lincoln Store and Post Office in the centre of the plate, Plate is 25cm in diameter.
